It has been 7 long years since we were last treated (is that the right word?) to a Hellraiser flick with Hellraiser: Revelations in 2011. But now, we are on the verge of another. Titled Hellraiser: Judgment the film sees the return of the iconic Pinhead – this time played by Paul T. Taylor – and his fellow cenobites.
You can check out the first trailer for the film below, which shows the hellish world the cenobites dominate where pleasure and pain go hand-in-hand. It looks like a gruesome instalment in the franchise and rather than feeling like an anti-fairytale like the early additions, this one has more of a Saw or Hostel vibe. We’re sure many will have problems with this new film in the franchise, but we’re trying to stay positive.
We also have a ton of images to share with you from the upcoming film below, so check those out below in their beautifully brutal glory.
Synopsis:
Detectives Sean and David Carter are on the case to find a gruesome serial killer terrorizing the city. Joining forces with Detective Christine Egerton, they dig deeper into a spiralling maze of horror that may not be of this world. Could the Judgment awaiting the killer’s victims also be waiting for Sean?
Hellraiser: Judgment stars A Nightmare on Elm Street’s Heather Langenkamp, as well as Feast director John Gulagher, Diane Ayala Goldner (Hatchet III), Randy Wayne (True Blood), Damon Carney (The Hitcher) and Mike Jay Regan, who returns to the role of The Chatterer, which he played in Hellraiser: Inferno and Hellraiser: Deader.
