If you’ve been playing World War Z and thinking to yourself “I like this but I wish it was 10x harder,” Saber Interactive have the update for you! The free Six Skulls update makes an “Extreme” difficulty mode available for every chapter released to date.
“This new mode is no joke,” Saber explain in a teaser trailer for the update. “It’s never been more important to conserve resources wherever possible, cover each other’s backs, and make every shot count.”
For squads that rise up to the challenge, a slew of new rewards are available. These include a new melee weapon and exclusive sniper rifle that will allow you to show off your zombie-killing prowess to the world.
Saber promises a“big” update will be coming at either the end of July or in early August, so stay tuned for news about that. In the meantime, you can play World War Z on Xbox One, Playstation 4, or on the PC via the Epic Games Store.
