V Wars, Netflix’s new vampire series, will emerge from the coffin next month, and the brand new trailer boasts some serious teeth.
Based on the best-selling books by Jonathan Maberry, the show stars Ian Somerhalder (Pulse, The Vampire Diaries) as Dr. Luther Swann, a man plunged into a world of horror after his friend Michael Fayne (Adrian Holmes) catches a mysterious disease that turns him into a blood-sucking predator. With the disease spreading and society crumbling, Swann faces a race against time to understand what is happening. Meanwhile Fayne is rising to power amongst the vampires.
William Laurin and Glenn Davis serve as showrunners on the 10-episode series. The cast also includes Peter Outerbridge (Saw VI), Laura Vandervoot (Jigsaw), Kimberly-Sue Murray (The Lizzie Borden Chronicles), Jacky Lai (Shadowhunters), and Kyle Breitkopf (The Whisperers).
