There’s no word yet on when Dracula will sink its teeth into Netflix, but we do know when the Netflix/BBC co-production will swoop down on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The three-part series will air its first episode, titled The Rules of the Beast, on New Year’s Day, with episodes two (Blood Vessel) and three (The Dark Compass) airing on January 2nd and January 3rd respectively.
The series is written and created by Sherlock’s Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat and inspired by Bram Stoker’s classic gothic novel. Claes Bang (The Girl in the Spider’s Web) plays the famous bloodsucker in this interpretation, which begins in 19th-century Transylvania, where the Count is drawing his devious plans against London.
