Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead) returns to the horror genre with Army of the Dead—and the first teaser trailer takes a big bite out of Sin City!
In the R-rated film, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas—venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted. The cast includes Dave Bautista (Riddick), Ella Purnell (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children), Ana de la Reguera (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series), Matthias Schweighöfer (You Are Wanted), Nora Arnezeder (Maniac), Hiroyuki Sanada (Ringu), Raúl Castillo (Unsane), Michael Cassidy (Night of the Living Deb), and Garret Dillahunt (Fear the Walking Dead).
In addition to directing, Snyder came up with the story for Army of the Dead and wrote the screenplay alongside Shay Hatten (John Wick: Chapter 3) and Joby Harold (Awake). Netflix is releasing the film on May 21st, with a live-action prequel and animated prequel series to follow.
