Netflix has released the full trailer for A Classic Horror Story, a mysterious new horror film from directors Roberto De Feo and Paolo Strippoli that the streaming platform teases is like “Italian Midsommar meets Texas Chain Saw Massacre.” We don’t know much about this one other than the cryptic synopsis above, but by the looks of the trailer, we can look forward to some folksy horror spliced with brutal torture porn—as well as a few interesting twists on genre conventions.
A Classic Horror Story hits Netflix on July 14th. In the meantime, check out the intriguing trailer below!
