Emma Tammi (The Wind) has signed on to direct Dollhouse, a psychological horror movie produced by and likely starring Selena Gomez (The Dead Don’t Die).
Michael Paisley wrote the screenplay for the film, which Deadline notes has been compared to Black Swan. The plot is set in the upper echelon of New York City’s fashion scene.
“Emma is one of the brightest up-and-coming directors in the genre,” Adam Fogelson of STXfilms Motion Picture Group said in a statement to Deadline. “She has an incredible sense of story, pacing, and timing that is equally matched by her eye for unforgettable visuals. We love her take on this material and we’re thrilled to be developing it with her.”
Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen will produce Dollhouse for 21 Laps. More news as we hear it.
