The full trailer has arrived for Demonic, a new horror film from writer-director Neill Blomkamp (District 9), giving us a closer look at the nightmarish pairing of technology and demonic possession that seems to be at the heart of the story.
In the film, a young woman unleashes terrifying demons when supernatural forces at the root of a decades-old rift between mother and daughter are revealed. Carly Pope (Elysium), Chris William Martin (Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem), and Michael Rogers (Beyond the Black Rainbow) star.
Blomkamp’s first feature film since 2015’s Chappie, Demonic will get a theatrical, On Demand, and Digital release in the U.S. on August 20th. In the UK, you can catch it in cinemas and on Premium Digital from August 27th. In the meantime, plug in and lose yourself in the creepy trailer below!
