After dipping his toe into new territory with Aquaman and a Fast and Furious sequel, James Wan (Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring) returns to the horror genre this year with Malignant—and the official trailer teases a slasher film wrapped in a supernatural mystery!
In Malignant, Madison is paralysed by shocking visions of grisly murders. Her torment worsens as she discovers that these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities—and they seem to be connected to an entity she encountered during her childhood.
Annabelle Wallis (Annabelle) stars in the film alongside Maddie Hasson (We Summon the Darkness), George Young (Containment), Michole Briana White (Black Mafia Family), Jacqueline McKenzie (Deep Blue Sea), Jake Abel (Supernatural), and Ingrid Bisu (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It). The script was written by Akela Cooper (Hell Fest), from a story by Wan and Bisu.
