Filming just wrapped on Swallowed, a new horror film from director Carter Smith (The Ruins) that he describes as a “slimy wild queer horror nightmare on a movie.”
We don’t know much about Swallowed just yet, other than the fact that it stars Jena Malone (The Neon Demon), Mark Patton (A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge), and Cooper Koch. Malone previously worked with Smith on The Ruins, which revolved around a killer vine attacking a stranded group of tourists and getting under their skin—figuratively and literally.
Swallowed is the first feature film in Smith’s All the Dead Boys queer fear project. More news as we hear it…
