Another treat that came out of this year’s Comic-Con@Home was the full trailer for Don Mancini’s new show Chucky, which is set to continue the storyline from the original film series, exploring Chucky’s character in new depth.
In the series, a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, throwing an idyllic American town into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies—and allies—from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.
Brad Dourif returns to voice Chucky in the series, with Jennifer Tilly reprising the role of Tiffany. Other returning cast members include Fiona Dourif as Nina Pierce, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, and Christine Elise as Kyle. Devon Sawa (Final Destination, Idle Hands) also stars.
Chucky slashes into the TV schedule on October 12th. Check out the trailer below for a glimpse of the mayhem and murder in store!
