Fresh out of Gamescom 2021 comes a new trailer for The Outlast Trials, the latest game in Red Barrels’ popular Outlast series—and while the voiceover promises we’re going to get better together, this form of therapy looks pretty damn deadly.
Set in the Cold War, The Outlast Trials will see unwilling volunteers being recruited by The Murkoff Corporation to test new methods of brainwashing and mind control. Work alongside your friends in a world of distrust, fear, and violence—and attempt to survive the trials.
The Outlast Trials is designed for cooperative gameplay, but a single-player mode will be available. Get ready to take your medicine when the game comes to consoles and PC in 2022.
