Are you ready for the reaper’s return?
Exciting news reaches us that New Line Cinema and Warner Bros have locked in a release date for Final Destination: Bloodlines!
Whilst few details have been released regarding the film’s plot, we’re expecting all that to change with a May 2025 release date on the horizon.
Several elements have already gotten series fans excited, such as the involvement of Scream scribe Guy Busick, and the return of the late Tony Todd.
However, the plot of Bloodlines remains a closely guarded secret.
That veil will soon lift, with Bloodlines earning a wide theatrical release on May 16th 2025. With that only being six months away, promotional material for the film will likely begin dropping shortly, ending months of speculation.
What we do know about Bloodlines is Brec Bassinger, Teo Briones, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Richard Harmon, Anna Lore, and Owen Patrick Joyner are just some of the names involved. However, who they will play remains unknown.
The sixth entry in the Final Destination franchise comes to us from directing duo Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein. The pair are best known for their sci-fi-action-thriller Freaks, which gained significant critical praise upon its 2018 release.
Franchise mainstay Craig Perry has produced Bloodlines, although without the involvement of his longtime partner Warren Zide. Jon Watts, director of Marvel’s most recent Spider-Man trilogy has also contributed ideas to the film’s story, further exciting fans.
Bloodlines joins a packed 2025 slate for the horror genre, which includes I Know What You Did Last Summer, Thanksgiving 2, 28 Years Later, and The Conjuring: Last Rites. We’re hoping the film can find its voice amongst some tough competition.
We’ll bring you any further updates as soon as we can.
