Takashi Shimizu’s 2000 film Ju-On: The Curse has already spawned 11 sequels, remakes, and sequels to remakes, with another American remake (titled The Grudge yet again) set to haunt theatres in 2020. But the ghosts must be restless, because a new landing page has appeared on Netflix for a Ju-On series.
According to the synopsis: “The J-Horror classic franchise ‘Ju-On’ was actually based on real events that occurred over four decades—and the truth is even more terrifying.”
The series is expected to creep onto the streaming service in Spring 2020.
