Director Joe Berlinger recently brought a double dose of infamous serial killer Ted Bundy to Netflix with the documentary mini-series Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes and the Zac Efron-starring film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. Now he’s tackling a new project for the streaming platform—a gritty and meticulous docuseries covering some of America’s most notorious haunted locations.
We don’t know much about the as-yet-untitled series at this time, but with Berlinger attached, we’re certainly intrigued. Berlinger is perhaps best known for creating the Paradise Lost trilogy with Bruce Sinofsky. This series of documentary films shone a light on the plight of the West Memphis Three, a group of young men wrongfully convicted for the 1993 murders of three eight-year-old boys in Arkansaw, and played an instrumental part in getting the men released after a decades-long struggle for justice.
