TITANE: A metal highly resistant to heat and corrosion, with high tensile strength alloys, often used in medical prostheses due to its pronounced biocompatibility.
It’s also the name of the sophomore feature of French writer and director Julia Ducournau, who made her electrifying debut in 2016 with the acclaimed cannibal horror film Raw. We don’t know much about Titane yet, other than the fact that it stars Agathe Rouselle and Vincent Lindon, and the first-look trailer and poster aren’t don’t give much away.
