Well, it turns out that Red Rum isn’t just a deliciously refreshing beverage, all we had to do the whole time was look at the term in the mirror. If the Torrances had only known ahead of time they could have gotten out of the hotel long before the snow piled up.
We get why they didn’t want to leave, though. Jack got to write in peace. Wendy and Danny got to explore the fancy halls and rooms. And they all got to feast on the endless supplies in the kitchen, did you see all of those treats in the pantry when Wendy stashes the murderous and unhinged Jack in there? Yeah, pretty exciting.
But, let’s be real, this little vacation didn’t end well. Jack’s mind got taken down by the spirits of the hotel and poor Wendy and Danny escaped by a hair. The vinyl figure shows Jack in full blown mania. He’s got his famous ax and a little blood splattered on his receding hairline. It’s the perfect touch for your horror collection! Just remember to let loose every once in a while, all work and no play can be pretty dangerous.
